Lightyear Wireless Sponsoring
Posted by: | CommentsOne of the most important tasks in Lightyear Wireless or any other mlm network marketing opportunity is sponsoring a large number of quality prospects into the business.
In fact, learning effective mlm sponsoring is so important that our team’s training focuses on helping each new business partner sponsor at least one new team member in their first 24 hours in the business. Over the years I have found that helping new team members sponsor business partners quickly contributes more to their long-term success than almost anything else we can teach them.
When you break it down, there are really only three key steps to maximizing your sponsoring success.
1. Expose new people to the business. This is the most critical step, yet the one most often short-changed by new network marketers. Almost every time a business partner is not earning the income they want to, it comes down to them not exposing enough good prospects to their business each day.
We teach our team how to build their Lightyear Wireless business both on and off the Internet. Over the long haul, the Internet is where we find the most top-quality people. However, for immediate results, we teach our team how to expose people they already know to the business. It’s actually very simple, even for first timers, if the emphasis is on exposing prospects rather than trying to sell or convince them.
For best results in exposing the business to people, your system must include simple, automated tools that introduce the necessary information rather than rely on the business partner personally sharing the information. Additionally, using these tools shows the prospect how simple the business really is.
2. Follow up with prospects. Once a prospect has been exposed to the business information, it is critical that you follow up with them. If you wait for the prospect to follow up with you, you will miss the majority of your enrollment opportunities. While the easy way to follow up is by email, the most effective ways are either in person or by telephone. The other important part of effective follow up is timeliness. The longer you wait to follow up, the less your chances are of sponsoring the prospect.
3. Enroll prospects and immediately train them to duplicate the process. As soon as your new business partner is enrolled into your business, it is vital that you plug him or her into your team’s training system and help them have sponsoring success.
Learn these key steps on how to increase your mlm sponsoring rate and you can have massive success in Lightyear Wireless.

MLM Leaders
Posted by: | CommentsLeaders and leadership are terms that are bounced around regularly in MLM network marketing. While many in our industry claim to be leaders, very few network marketers have a really clear picture of exactly what defines a leader.
After 20 plus years in the network marketing industry, the last 8 full-time, there is one thing I know for sure. Nothing will impact your success more than the leadership you work with and the system you use to build your business.
Ask any networker, experienced veteran or brand new to the industry, to define leadership and a lot of characteristics will come up…drive, attitude, commitment, vision, organization, accessibility, communication, motivation, knowledge, mentoring, training, etc.
If a new network marketer is going to find a strong leader to work with, they need to have a very clear picture of what they are looking for. Here are the key characteristics every good MLM leader has.
100% commitment to the business and their team. Whether they are in the business full-time or part-time, they show up for every meeting, training, webinar, or event. They never stop learning. They practice what they preach. They are quick to put their own recruiting on hold to help a business partner.
They are self-starters who get things done. Show them what to do and get out of their way. They do not need to be convinced or pushed. They set a goal and claim it. When challenges come up, they find a way around them. They will do whatever it takes to be successful. They never offer excuses.
They are the kind of person others want to be around. Leaders put their ego aside and share everything. They enjoy celebrating the success of others.
Use these characteristics as the benchmark for good leadership in mlm network marketing. Choose carefully and surround yourself with strong leaders.

MLM Sponsoring Approaches For Warm Market
Posted by: | CommentsWhile our team specializes in online mlm sponsoring, it is still critical for new business partners to learn to build their business locally and with people they know (we call this your warm market). In fact, our day one training for new team members focuses on local and warm market prospecting for several reasons. It’s free, effective, easy to do, and it can generate immediate results if you know how to do it right.
The main reason most people avoid working their local or warm market is, they do not know what to say to prospects.
Here are my two favorite ways to approach local prospects and people you know. Both work equally well with friends and strangers alike. We teach our team to master both of them by practicing on a friend or family member before using them.
The sole purpose of both approaches is to get the prospect to ask you for more information. And this is where most inexperienced network marketers miss it. They think they have to pitch their opportunity, when really all they need to do is provide more information after prospects ask for it.
Approach 1. “I could use your help. I have a business I work from home. We grow by referral only. Who do you know that might be interested in __________ .”
You can fill in the blank with one of several options. For example: making additional income, firing their boss, retiring while they are still young, learning how to eliminate their phone bill, etc. I have found that almost every time I use this approach, the prospect responds with something like: “I am. What’s it all about?”
Approach 2. I get people to ask me what I do for a living. And it’s surprisingly simple to do. All I do is start by asking them what they do for a living. Nine times out of ten, as soon as a prospect tells you what they do, they will follow up by asking what you do for a living.
In either case, once the prospect asks for more information, you have an open invitation to introduce them to your business. Presenting your opportunity is a topic in itself and is covered in a separate mlm sponsoring article.
Learn to master these simple local and warm market approaches. Then step outside of your comfort zone and start striking up conversations with friends and complete strangers alike. You can easily have them asking for more information about your business. The right approaches make mlm sponsoring easy!
