Lightyear Wireless Review
Posted by: | CommentsThis article will give you my expert opinion in a review of the Lightyear Wireless business opportunity.
As a full-time networker and leader in the industry, new opportunities come across my desk every day. Most of the phone calls and emails I receive tout the same old thing…ground floor opportunity, cutting- edge product, best compensation plan, etc. I just don’t have the time or interest. Most new companies won’t even be around next year.
However, when I first saw Lightyear Wireless, I noticed something different right away. As I examined it more closely, here’s what I found.
Lightyear Wireless was founded in July 2008. The parent company, Lightyear Network Solutions, started in 1993. Their headquarters is an 80,000 square foot office in Louisville, KY. A member of the Better Business Bureau, they are ranked #19 in Inc. Magazine. The company has stability.
While they have several products, the bell cow is wireless phones and service. Today, wireless phones are a necessity, rather than a luxury. What makes wireless so appealing as an MLM product, is that it requires no explaining, no selling, no training of the customer. Everyone is already sold on wireless!
Lightyear offers both pre-paid wireless plans with no contract, no credit check and post-pay plans with traditional 2 year contracts. I found their pricing competitive. Ordering online is simple. They have partnerships with both Sprint and Verizon networks. That shows me credibility.
As for the business opportunity, Lightyear Wireless offers its representatives 8 streams of income. The most notable are Fast Start Bonuses of $100 to $295 for sharing the business with others, customer acquisition bonuses, residual income, and free wireless credits that allow reps to get their wireless service for free. Bonuses are paid weekly.
The company has excellent marketing materials. I found their websites to be attractive and effective.
Whether you are a seasoned network marketer, or new to the industry, I recommend the Lightyear Wireless business opportunity.

iLearning Global Drops MLM – What To Learn From It
Posted by: | CommentsiLearning Global was a network marketing company. It billed itself as a learning resource for entrepreneurs, business owners, and network marketers. The company seemed to be doing well. Many networkers became very successful in it.
On March 17, 2010, iLearning Global announced it was ending its network marketing model, feeling they could no longer be competitive. Bottom line…they are out of network marketing. Many distributors are out of business.
Over the years, other apparently successful MLM network marketing companies have done the same thing, usually with little advance notice. It’s sure to happen again, too.
While no distributor is ever ready for something like that to happen, some were far better prepared than others.
Those who were practicing the old-school style of network marketing of promoting their opportunity and relying on company replicated marketing materials are in a serious situation. They are about to lose their check and all of their hard work. They will have to pick up the pieces and start all over again.
However, the smart networkers who learned and practiced modern attraction marketing are much better prepared for the situation. They have been busy branding themselves as a leader, an expert, and the one you would want to be in business with. They have built a team of people who have joined to be in business with them rather than with the company. They own their database of business partners and know how to use it.
I personally know of several who quickly and methodically moved their team to a new company and replaced their iLearning Global income in a matter of days.
Everyone in network marketing should be asking themselves these questions:
1. What will I do if my company calls it quits tomorrow?
2. Have I shown myself to be a leader, an expert, and one who gives without expecting something in return?
3. Will my team follow me to another company?
Prepare yourself for the possibility that your company may be next to pull the plug. The lesson to learn is that people don’t join companies, they join people. Stop promoting your company. Start branding yourself.
