When it is done correctly, a review can be a powerful marketing tool for you. Do it wrong, and it will haunt you for a long time. Unfortunately, too many reviews are based on wrong information, lack of information, or a personal grudge.

The information in a review can be shared in a number of ways. I distribute mlm reviews via blog posts, videos, article marketing, and email blasts. I have even created complete websites for more detailed reviews.

The two most important steps in creating a valuable review are determining the interest level in the topic and collecting the information to share.

Start by spending a little time with Google and a keyword tool. There is no point in writing a review if there is no interest in it. Pick topics that will be frequently searched by people in or looking to get into our industry.

The actual information in your review can come from a number of sources. It is critical that the information be accurate. Your own personal experience will be the most relevant. If you do not have first-hand experience with the topic, you can interview an expert and share their story. As a last resort, you can always research the topic and share that information. Make sure your information comes from a reliable source.

Just as in other advertising, it is always smart to stay away from claims of income. I also avoid getting into the claimed benefits of products or negative comments about people. There seem to be too many reviews online including the word “scam”. I’m not an attorney, but I would stay away from labeling anything a scam.

Sharing valuable information via reviews has several big marketing benefits for you. First, it is a great way to brand yourself as an authority on the topic and position yourself as a leader in the industry. I get phone calls every week from people who have read one of my reviews. Additionally, it can generate a lot of traffic to your website or blog.

Take advantage of the power of mlm reviews. Learn to do them the right way and they can have a big impact on your success. Pick a hot topic. Collect the information. Share it with the world. It’s a great marketing tool.

For years, my approach has been the same. I do not even try!

Trying to push unmotivated business partners is counter-productive. In fact, I go out of my way to avoid signing them up. I know that the time and energy you spend that way can get far better results by training someone who is already motivated.

I don’t try to motivate mlm team

My recruiting focuses on attracting already motivated prospects. With our team’s training, business partners become experts in attraction marketing and attract top-quality prospects so they can be very picky about the people they mentor.

The key to being in a position of choosing the prospects you really want on your team is to have a steady flow of motivated leads looking at your mlm opportunity every single day. Get to where you have more good leads than you have time to handle them.

Don’t try to motivate your mlm team. Focus on enrolling more of the right kind of people.

Over the years I have found that the majority of people in our industry will achieve far more success when they have an accountability partner to work with. An accountability partner is someone who works alongside you and helps you reach a goal or live up to a commitment. They hold you accountable. They have been used with great success for many years by joggers and gym club members, in 12 step programs for addictions, and weight loss programs.

I had my first accountability partner when I was in college. My best friend, Joe and I paced each other and held the other accountable to the study habits we knew we needed to succeed. We shared clear goals and knew what we had to do to achieve them. It was far easier to reach those goals that way than to keep the commitment by myself.

In MLM or network marketing, accountability partners can do the same thing. They can help you be more productive and successful. There are many advantages to working with an accountability partner. Here are the 4 benefits I consider most important for those in mlm or network marketing:

1. Forces you to set clearly defined goals.
2. Requires you to develop a plan of action.
3. Helps you set and maintain a work schedule.
4. Forces you to stay focused, eliminating excuses and procrastination.

Choosing the right person for your accountability partner is very important. Your partner can be a friend, someone from your upline support group, a business partner in your downline, or even someone on another team. However, the person you choose must have similar financial goals and work ethic as you. A good accountability partner must be the kind of person who takes pleasure in seeing others have success and has the “I’ll do whatever it takes to be successful” attitude. He or she must be able to motivate, challenge, and encourage you. They must be someone you respect and enjoy spending time with.

An MLM or network marketing business can provide tremendous freedom. However, do not make the mistake of trying to build that business on your own. Find a good accountability partner to work with and take the smart path to mlm success.

Almost daily, a new team member will call and tell me about a terrific new marketing approach they have come up with. Over the years I have learned that if I cannot quickly get them re-focused on the right things to do, they are almost certain to fail. Rather than trying to create a better way to build their business, they need to copy what has already been proven to work. Throughout our online mlm training, we emphasize the importance of following our team’s proven marketing system. But unfortunately, some team members just don’t get the message.

Success in network marketing comes from duplication. The business partners who learn to be good copycats are the ones who make the most money. Duplication is all about copying a system. Sure, new and better techniques are being developed all the time. But the experimenting and testing of marketing methods and techniques needs to be left to the seasoned veterans who are already successful and earning a substantial income. They have a feel for what will be easy to duplicate and work for the other members of the team.

A new business partner, typically working the business on a very part-time basis, cannot afford to lose time or money experimenting with their marketing approach. Statistics show that if a new network marketer does not have significant success in their first weeks in business, the odds of them staying in the business long enough to become successful go down rapidly. The most reliable way to create success in network marketing is to copy what already works for others.

Every good network marketing company and team can provide quality training on the key activities for success in their business. One of the major benefits of network marketing is the training available and the willingness of others to share what has brought them success. The leaders of your team have a financial interest in your success. Use their experience and spend your time on the critical activities of exposing new prospects, following up with them, and then enrolling them and helping them duplicate the process.

The most important lesson a new network marketer can take away from all of their online mlm training is to copy what works. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Don’t waste time trying to come up with a better way to do things. Just copy your team’s system. It works every time!

Master a particular skill or technique. Like all good MLM teams, we offer our business partners extensive training on a number of important areas of the business. We encourage our team to pick one and master it. If you are not able to get adequate training from your team, use the Internet’s best training source, Google. With just a little effort, you can learn almost anything online.

Use that new skill or technique yourself. Learn its strengths and weaknesses. Improve upon it if you can. Keep good records on the results it brings you.

Share the skill or technique with others on your team and in our industry. The best ways to do this include posts on blogs, writing articles, holding webinars or training calls, and posting in forums.

The final step is to teach others to use the skill or technique. I have found that one of the most effective ways to do this is by posting a how-to video on YouTube and other video hosting sites.

Take advantage of the power of attraction marketing. Find a good source of online mlm training and learn to brand yourself as an expert.

Success in network marketing requires having a steady flow of interested prospects looking at your business each day. With the exception of the occasional networker who has a large circle of influence and is willing to prospect within it, networkers have to count on advertising to keep their prospecting pipeline full.

Lacking proper advertising skills not only hinders the flow of daily prospects and its resulting business growth, it also wastes the marketer’s time, money, and emotions. It doesn’t take long for a networker experiencing poor results to get frustrated and quit the business.

I have found that one of the most important parts of training we can provide our new business partners is effective marketing skills. Almost all networkers need to learn good copy writing. There are many online sources of good copy writing training.

We teach our team 4 basic ingredients that are essential to good advertising. These apply whether it’s a classified ad for local marketing or an online marketing piece such as a landing or lead capture page. Use these as both a 4 step process to evaluate any current marketing already in place and as a guideline for new advertising.

Attention. Face it, if the advertising does not grab the prospect’s attention, nothing else matters. In all advertising and marketing, the attention-grabber is a strong headline. Improving your headlines will do more for your results than any other improvement.

Interest. Once you grab the prospect’s attention, you must build their interest. This is best done by sharing benefits. Benefits make ideal sub-headlines in your marketing piece. This is where you let the prospect know what’s in it for him or her.

Desire. This builds on their interest and makes the prospect want what you’ve got. Get this step right and you will dramatically increase your conversion rates.

Action. This is where you lead the prospect to the final step. Make it clear what they need to do. Tell them to enter their first name and email address in the form, or pick up the phone and call you, or click the join now button, for example. I’ve had great success pushing people through this step by offering bonuses or discounts for immediate action.

Even with these 4 ingredients in place, all smart marketers are still constantly testing the results of one version of a marketing piece against another. That is the only way to know for sure what works best.

Learn to master these keys to advertising. It will have a huge impact on your success in MLM network marketing.
