However, with all the buzz in recent years about attraction marketing and the desire to build a business in a quicker and easier manner, an increasing number of network marketers are looking for online ways to generate mlm leads.
In its simplest form, the technique to generate online leads is to put up a website or landing page, drive traffic to it, and get a percentage of visitors to opt in by leaving their contact information. Increasing web site traffic is a major topic in itself and is covered in a separate article. The other important part of lead generation is increasing the percentage of visitors who opt in once you get them to your site. This is called conversion.
Here are the 9 major strategies we teach our team members to increase conversion at their website or landing page. Successful conversion all starts with effective website design. You must design the website or landing page to do just one thing and do it well..get the maximum percentage of traffic to opt in.
1. Your page must have a clean design, be fast loading, easy to read, and deliver the information the visitor is expecting to see.
2. Do not include links pointing off to other pages. Avoid using flashing images and other distractions.
3. As in any marketing, you still must use compelling headlines and body copy. Face it, just getting a prospect to opt in is a form of selling!
4. Lead the prospect by the hand and make it clear what they need to do. For example, tell them to enter their first name and email address in the box below.
5. Make it clear what the prospect will get for opting in. People are increasingly reluctant to give out their personal information. Let them know you have what they are looking for.
6. Do not ask for any unnecessary information on the opt in form. The less information you request, the higher your conversion rate will usually be.
7. Include a bonus for opting in.
8. Maintain and display a clear No-spam policy.

Over the years I have had tremendous success with my MLM business in the last two weeks of December. Even though I never have my largest number of enrollments during that time period, the actions I take then always have a major impact on the enrollments I do get in January. As a result, January is always one of the strongest months of the year for me.
A large number of people in the mlm network marketing industry take the end of the year off from their business to celebrate the holidays. We teach our team to take advantage of this fact and keep promoting our business just as we do during the rest of the year.
Building your business on the Internet makes it easy to do that, even during a hectic holiday schedule. Online marketing methods are much less time-consuming and do not require working your business around other people’s schedules. If you are not building your business on the Internet, now is the time to learn to do so. Take advantage of one of the many good sources of online mlm training.
Especially with the economy we have experienced over the last couple of years, many excellent prospects are looking for a replacement or additional source of income, even during the holiday period. Negatives Of Online MLM Sponsoring Systems

I have used them for years and have had great success with them. I have even designed a few myself. The good ones consistently bring excellent results. We encourage all of our team members to use one.
In today’s article, I want to outline the three major negatives to avoid when selecting or using an online mlm sponsoring system.
1. Systems that brand the creator. One of the biggest benefits to using an online system is branding YOU. It makes no sense to spend your marketing effort or budget to brand someone else. If the system you are evaluating is not easy to customize so that it brands you, do not use it.
2. Systems tied to a specific opportunity or company. Successful attraction marketing is all about branding you, not your company. If for any reason, you find yourself building a different business in the future, you will want to be able to seamlessly shift all of your marketing effort to that new business. If you have been promoting your company rather than yourself, you will be faced with starting your marketing campaign all over again. All of your hard work will be wasted.
3. Systems based on too many affiliate programs or affiliate programs that pay the creator rather than you. One of the benefits of a good online mlm sponsoring system is the concept of a funded proposal. That way, even if a prospect does not join your networking opportunity, you still have the ability to generate a cash flow from him or her. However, systems based on too many affiliate deals not only turn people off, they also shift your focus from building your network marketing business to becoming an affiliate marketer. The primary purpose of the system should always be to build your mlm.
Choose your system carefully and avoid these three major pitfalls. You can create massive success in your network marketing business with the right online mlm sponsoring system.

MLM Landing Page Training
Posted by: | CommentsAlmost everyone who is building a network marketing business online uses at least one mlm landing page (also called a lead capture page).
A landing page or lead capture page is a site or page on the Internet that traffic is directed to. Visitors can be directed there by almost any media. The most common means in mlm are by clicking on a link in an email or by receiving the web address through some printed media like an ad or drop card.
A well-designed page serves one specific purpose. The most common use in our industry is to capture an interested prospect’s contact information for further follow up by getting them to fill out a form.
Several factors control the volume of prospect contact information that is collected by any one landing page. The quantity and quality of traffic directed to the page and the design of the page itself are both critical. But, they are separate topics in themselves and covered in other articles.
Those factors aside, how much and exactly what information you ask the prospect to provide determines what percentage of the visitors complete the form as desired. This is called the conversion rate.
Before designing any landing or lead capture page, it is important to be clear on exactly what its purpose is. The most common ones are to build an email list, generate leads with phone numbers, and to filter or pre-qualify prospects.
If your goal is to build your list or generate leads, only ask for the necessary information. Any time you ask for more, your conversion rate will go down. After many years of use and testing, my highest converting pages for building an email list only ask for the prospect’s first name and email address. I could do as well or better just capturing the email address, but I get the first name to be able to personalize the emails I send.
Only when you are trying to filter your prospects do you want to ask additional questions such as income goal, previous background, etc.
The majority of network marketers hurt their conversion rates by asking for too much information on their mlm lead capture or landing pages!

How To Get Emails Read

More than ever before, email is a vital part of successful business-building. And it’s not just because of the universal acceptance of the information age and its convenience. Any serious marketer looking to take full advantage of the power of the Internet will make email marketing part of their marketing strategy.
Today the big buzz in MLM network marketing is Attraction Marketing. Attraction marketing is all about promoting and branding yourself as a leader, an expert, and the one who can help your prospect be successful.
One of the most powerful methods of attraction marketing is to build an email list of targeted prospects and then send them a sequence of follow-up emails providing valuable information such as training, a newsletter, or informative articles to build a relationship with those people on the list.
With people receiving so many emails every day, and so many of them being unsolicited spam, one of the real challenges is getting your email opened and then read by your prospect rather than deleted. It’s important to note that an equally critical part of getting prospects to read your emails is just getting emails delivered to their inbox. But, that’s a a topic in itself and is covered in a separate article.
Open Rate is the industry term for how many people on your list open a particular email. Usually it is expressed as a percentage. There are several ways to increase email open rates.

Write a compelling subject line.
Test the results for email sent each day of the week.
Test the results for the time of day your email is sent. I have always had best open rates after mid-morning. I am convinced that deleting all of the spam that comes in overnight is a common practice.
Write a strong opening paragraph. Some email programs will show a preview of your email before the prospect decides to open it or delete it.
Personalize the subject line with each prospect’s name to differentiate it from spam.
Customize the “from” field in your emails so prospects recognize you.
Avoid using spam-like tactics such as deliberate misspellings as in Fr.ee or m0ney.
Learn to master these techniques for improving your email open rates. It will lead to a dramatic increase in the percentage of your emails that get read by your prospects.

Increase Backlinks – Building Website Traffic With Backlinks

Backlinks are links pointing to a website or web page from another website. The number of backlinks a site or page has is an important part of search engine optimization (SEO) and generating website traffic. Search engines such as Google use the number of backlinks pointing to a website to help determine that site’s ranking in their index. The higher up a site is listed in a major search engine, the more likely it is to be seen and visited.
However, success with links is not just a numbers game. Link quality is also important. Two factors in the quality of a link are anchor text and relevance. Anchor text is the text you can click on in a link. It tells the search engines what the linked page is about. Always use keyword-rich anchor text rather than “click here”. Links are considered to be more relevant and of a higher value when they come from sites with related themes.
Here are some of the common online marketing methods you can use to increase backlinks and website traffic:
Writing and submitting articles. The resource box of an article provides a place for links to your site.
Video marketing. Include a link in the description of every video you upload (some video sites even make your link clickable).
Social media like MySpace.
Getting your site listed in directories such as DMOZ.
Blog posts and comments.
Posting in forums.
It is important to note that these online marketing methods are all basically free to use. One method to increase backlinks to your website that is not recommended is purchasing links from sites that exist solely for the purpose of trading or selling links. The common term for these websites is “link farm”. Using these links can actually hurt your rankings in the search engines.
Take the time to master linking. You can create a massive increase in your website traffic by using the right strategies to increase backlinks.
